Matte photo base paper
Size: up to 60” wide x any length
Heavy weight 7 mil paper . Our most popular and yet economical choice for color poster printing. Smooth finish enhances small print and the clarity of fine detail.The recommended choice when you will be laminating your poster.
Gloss photo base paper
Size: up to 60” wide x any length
The perfect choice for a photo quality poster. Premium gloss finish results in brilliant, saturated color. Provides a water resistant finish without lamination.
Satin photo base paper
Size: up to 60” wide x any length
Similar to our gloss photo base but with reduced glare. Recommended for posters that will not be laminated.
Backlit film
Size: up to 50” wide x any length
Light diffusing film provides a brilliant display in a light box. Order with lamination or mounted to the front of plexiglas.
Lexan Polycarbonate
The preferred media for trade show environments or when your graphic will be used repeatedly. Lexan rolls for easy storage yet unrolls completely flat with no memory. How are your color posters different?
Our full color posters are now printed at 2,400 dpi using 8 ink colors for truly photo quality results. It’s like paying for low-res and receiving hi-res instead!.
What are the ink colors in your 8 color printing process?
We print with standard cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink, plus light cyan, light magenta as well as light gray and medium gray for incredible photo quality color. The additional colors allow us to print a much wider color gamut than ever before possible with large format printing.
How big can I make my color posters?

Can you match my Pantone or logo color?
As with all process printing, color matching is not guaranteed. If color is critical, please request a proof.
How do I create my poster file?
If you are printing more than one poster, always send one multiple page file, rather than several single page files. Illustrator files should be saved as eps or pdf, with fonts converted to outlines and crops added. Call or email us for setup guidelines for your project.
How long will it take to complete my order?
Most poster orders with mounting or laminating are ready in 1-2 days. Please allow additional time for memory intensive or large orders. Times are estimated and may vary according to work in house. Always call to confirm service availability.
Can I use my posters in direct sun or outdoors?
Our posters on gloss and satin photo base feature fade and water resistant archival ink designed for up to a year in direct sun or 100 years with lamination under incandescent lighting. Our vinyl banners are estimated to last 6 months to 3 years in outdoor use. Longevity is estimated as your actual use may vary according to environmental conditions.
How can I set up my poster file?
It's quite easy. We suggest that you design your file at a reduced percentage of its final size. We can then digitally enlarge your file so you final print is imaged at your requested size. For example, if your final size is 24" x 36", create your file at 6" x 9" (1/4 size), 8" x 12" (1/3 size) or 12" x 18" (1/2 size).
I have color scans in my file. What DPI do I use?
For files at actual size, scan your files at 175 dpi.
For files imaged at 200% enlargement, scan your files at 200 dpi.
For files imaged at 300% enlargement, scan your files at 300 dpi.
For files imaged at 400% enlargement, scan your files at 400 dpi.
Can you print a sample poster for me?
Yes. A reduced size press proof is available, and for larger orders we’ll even waive the proof charge when placing your full order from the same file within 14 days. If you would simply like to see our print quality, preprinted samples are free by request.
What about mounting and laminating my posters?
Our professional mounting and laminating is the perfect finish to your posters and prints. We use the GBC ORCA Professional Mounting System, recognized as the best in the industry. Choose from among most popular mounting substrates, including Foamcore, Ultramount, Gatorboard, Lexan and Sintra. Since all mounting and finishing is completed in house, you can be assured that your finishing will be completed with the same care and professionalism as our digital printing services.
